Elmar Nascimento

Elmar José Vieira Nascimento is a Brazilian politician and lawyer currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Bahia. Born in Campo Formoso, he began his political career as a city councilor in 1996 before serving in the Legislative Assembly of Bahia from 2003 to 2014. Since 2015, he has held a seat in the federal Chamber of Deputies, where he has served as a leader for his party and as the 2nd Vice-President of the Chamber. Throughout his tenure, he has been involved in significant legislative processes and parliamentary committee work.
