Elombo Bolayela is a German politician of Congolese origin and a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Born in Kinshasa, he moved to Germany in 1992 and later became a naturalized citizen. Since 2011, he has served as a member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, where he acts as the cultural spokesperson for the SPD parliamentary group. Before entering politics, he worked as a carpenter and served as a deputy chairman of the works council at a hardware store. Bolayela is also known for his musical activities as a drummer and his leadership of the 'Chor ohne Grenzen' choir.
