Emelia Ankomah

Emelia Ankomah is a Ghanaian politician and a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). She serves as the Member of Parliament for the Upper Denkyira East constituency. Ankomah secured her position after winning the party primaries unopposed in May 2023 and subsequently defeating the incumbent New Patriotic Party candidate, Festus Awuah Kwofie, in the 2024 Ghanaian general election with 56.26% of the vote. She is recognized as one of the female MPs-elect set to serve in Ghana's 9th parliament.
