Emil Nimčević

Emil Nimčević is a Croatian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Rovinj. Elected in May 2025, he previously held the position of President of the Rovinj City Council and served as the director of the Eugen Kumičić Vocational School in Rovinj. A professor of physical and health education by profession, Nimčević has focused his political platform on sustainable urban development and the enhancement of Rovinj as a premier tourist destination. In November 2025, he was also elected as a vice-president of the Association of Cities of the Republic of Croatia.
