Emile Jaensch

Emile Jaensch is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Oegstgeest since February 2016. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), he previously held leadership roles in Amsterdam, including serving as the district chair of Amsterdam Oud-Zuid and as a daily administrator for Amsterdam-Zuidoost. Before his political career, Jaensch worked as an organizational consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KplusV. He holds a degree in political science from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and currently serves on several regional boards, including the Security Region Hollands Midden.
