Emilija Rexhepi

Emilija Rexhepi is a Kosovan Bosniak politician and a prominent member of the New Democratic Party. She has served as a long-standing Member of the Assembly of Kosovo and was previously appointed as the Third Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, focusing on minority issues and human rights. Throughout her career, she has been a vocal advocate for the rights of the Bosniak community in Kosovo, including the promotion of Bosnian language education and the preservation of cultural traditions. Additionally, she has engaged in foreign policy discussions, notably advocating for the removal of visa requirements between Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2017, she ran for Mayor of Prizren, a city with a significant Bosniak population.
