Emma Harper

Emma Harper is a Scottish politician who served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the South Scotland region from 2016 to 2026. Before entering politics, she had a long career as a registered nurse, working in NHS Scotland, NHS England, and at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. A member of the Scottish National Party, she served on various committees including Health and Sport. Harper lost her seat in the 2026 Scottish Parliament election after failing to be re-elected.
