Brendan O'Hara is a Scottish politician and former television producer who has served as the Member of Parliament for Argyll, Bute and South Lochaber since 2024. Previously, he represented the Argyll and Bute constituency from 2015 to 2024. Before entering politics, O'Hara had a successful career in media, working for the BBC, STV, and Sky Sports, and producing the BAFTA Scotland-nominated documentary series Road To Referendum. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held various frontbench roles for the Scottish National Party, including spokesperson for Defence, Foreign Affairs, and International Development, as well as serving as the party's Chief Whip.
