Jake Richards

Jake Richards is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Rother Valley since 2024. A former barrister called to the bar in 2017, he practiced at Deka Chambers before entering national politics. In 2025, he was appointed as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Sentencing, Youth Justice and International. Richards has been an active member of the Home Affairs Select Committee and has notably co-sponsored legislation regarding assisted suicide.
