A member of the National Rally, he previously served as a substitute deputy before assuming office following the death of José Évrard in 2022. He was subsequently elected in his own right in 2022 and re-elected in the 2024 snap legislative elections. Prior to his parliamentary career, he worked as a territorial civil servant for the Lens-Liévin urban community.
