Eric Brown

Eric Brown is an American politician and businessman serving as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 20th district. Sworn into office in April 2022, he is the first Orthodox Jewish Republican to be elected to the body. Prior to his legislative career, he served as a trustee and deputy mayor of Cedarhurst, New York, and operated a construction business. In the Assembly, Brown has focused on policy priorities such as repealing cashless bail, opposing congestion pricing, and addressing public health legislation.
