Erion Braçe

Erion Braçe is an Albanian politician currently serving as a member of the Parliament of Albania. Born in Tirana on April 2, 1972, he holds a degree in finance from the University of Tirana. Before his full-time political career, he worked as a journalist and served as the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Zëri i Popullit from 1998 to 2007. A long-standing member of the Socialist Party, Braçe has been elected to the Albanian Parliament for six consecutive legislatures. He previously served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Albania from January 2019 to September 2021 and has held leadership roles in parliamentary committees, including the Committee on Economy and Finances.
