Arta Dade is an Albanian politician who served as a long-time member of the Parliament of Albania, representing Fier County from 1997 to 2017. A member of the Socialist Party, she held significant government positions, including Minister of Culture and Minister of Foreign Affairs, becoming the first woman to serve as Albania's Foreign Minister. Before entering politics, she worked as a lecturer in English Literature at the University of Tirana. Throughout her career, she was a vocal advocate for regional stability in the Balkans and served as the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy. Since retiring from parliamentary politics in 2017, she has remained active in public discourse regarding Albanian political affairs.
