Pirro Vengu is an Albanian politician who served as the Minister of Defense of Albania from July 2024 to February 2026. Prior to his ministerial appointment, Vengu held several significant administrative roles, including Director of Anticorruption at the Prime Minister’s Office and Director General of the Durrës Port Authority. His earlier career included positions at the European Council on Foreign Relations and the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
