Erion Malaj is an Albanian politician currently serving as a Member of the Parliament of Albania for the 11th legislature, having assumed office on September 12, 2025. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served as the Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Tirana from 2015 to 2025 and worked as an external lecturer at the Luarasi University Faculty of Law. Malaj holds a background in law and international relations, with ongoing doctoral studies in International Business and Regional Governance at the Beijing Foreign Studies University. He is fluent in English, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese.
