Evrim Karakoz

Evrim Karakoz is a Turkish politician and lawyer currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the Republican People's Party (CHP), representing the Aydın province. Born in 1978 in Germencik, he graduated from the Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law and began his legal career in 2005. Before his election to parliament in 2023, Karakoz held various local government roles, including serving as a municipal council member in Efeler and Kuşadası, as well as Deputy Mayor of Aydın Metropolitan Municipality from 2014 to 2023. He is a member of the parliamentary Committee on Internal Affairs and is known for his involvement in various civil society organizations and sports associations.
