Fátima Altabás

Fátima Altabás Kajatt is a Peruvian lawyer and public official currently serving as the Minister of Culture of Peru, a position she assumed on February 24, 2026, under the government of President José María Balcázar. A graduate of the University of Lima with expertise in public management and anti-corruption, she has held several high-level government roles, including Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Vice Minister of Institutional Management at the Ministry of Education, and General Manager of the Organism for Efficient Public Procurement.
