Fadli Zon is an Indonesian politician, historian, and current Minister of Cultural Affairs. A founding member and vice chairman of the Gerindra Party, he previously served as a long-time member of the House of Representatives, where he held the position of Deputy Speaker for several years. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent and often controversial figure in Indonesian politics, known for his vocal opposition to previous administrations and his active involvement in international parliamentary cooperation. He holds a Master's degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and a doctorate in history from the University of Indonesia.
