Fahri Hamzah

Fahri Hamzah is an Indonesian politician currently serving as the Deputy Minister of Housing and Residential Area. A graduate of the University of Indonesia, he rose to prominence as the first president of the Indonesian Muslim University Students' Action Union (KAMMI) following the fall of Suharto. He served as a long-time member of the House of Representatives from 2004 to 2019, including a tenure as Deputy Speaker. After being dismissed from the Prosperous Justice Party in 2016, he co-founded the Indonesian People's Wave Party (Gelora) in 2019.
