Fatmir Mediu

Fatmir Mediu is an Albanian conservative politician and the current Chairman of the Republican Party of Albania. He has served as a member of the Parliament of Albania for multiple terms. Throughout his career, he held cabinet positions including Minister of Defence from 2005 to 2008 and Minister of Environment, Forests and Water Administration from 2009 to 2013. Mediu is currently involved in legal proceedings regarding his tenure as Minister of Defence, which he maintains are politically motivated.
