Filiz Kılıç is a Turkish politician, academic, and literature professor who currently serves as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Nevşehir. She made history as the first woman elected to represent Nevşehir in the history of the Republic of Turkey. Before entering politics, she had a distinguished academic career, serving as the founding rector of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University from 2008 to 2017. A member of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), she has held various leadership roles within the party, including serving as a Deputy Group Chairperson since April 2024.
