Florian Maier is a German politician and educator serving as a member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate. Born in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, he pursued a career in education, working as a teacher at the Pfalzinstitut für Hören und Kommunikation in Frankenthal before entering state politics. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 2005, he has held various local government roles, including serving as a city councilor in Landau and as the local district head (Ortsvorsteher) of Dammheim.
