Florin Birta

Florin Birta is a Romanian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Oradea. First elected to the position in September 2020 with 70% of the vote, he was subsequently re-elected for a new term in 2024 with 68.5% of the vote. A member of the National Liberal Party, Birta has focused on continuing the city's administrative and infrastructure development projects. He succeeded Ilie Bolojan as mayor and remains a prominent figure in the local governance of Bihor County.
