François Astorg

François Astorg is a French politician who has served as the Mayor of Annecy since 2020. Before entering politics, he worked in human resources consulting, data analysis, and as a trainer for entrepreneurs. Initially involved with the Europe Ecology – The Greens party, he later ran as an independent ecologist. He is known for his focus on sustainable mobility and urban development, notably founding the 'Grenelle des Transports' in Annecy to promote alternative transport modes. He has announced he will not seek re-election in 2026.
