Franc Križan

Franc Križan is a Slovenian politician and entrepreneur who currently serves as a member of the National Assembly of Slovenia. Elected in 2026 representing the Šmarje pri Jelšah district, he holds the distinction of being the oldest member of the 10th National Assembly, having presided over its inaugural session. Before entering politics, Križan spent 37 years in leadership roles, including serving as a board member of the Slovenian Lottery and as the first director of the Slovenian Tourist Board. He is also known for his long-standing involvement in organizing the charity 'Anin ples' in Rogaška Slatina.
