Franc Križan

Franc Križan is a Slovenian politician and entrepreneur who serves as a member of the National Assembly of Slovenia. Elected in 2026 as a candidate for the Democrats of Anže Logar in the Šmarje pri Jelšah district, he notably served as the oldest member of the 10th National Assembly, presiding over its inaugural session. Prior to his political career, Križan spent 37 years in leadership roles, including as a board member of the National Lottery of Slovenia and as the first director of the Slovenian Tourist Board. He is also known for organizing the Anin ples charity event in Rogaška Slatina.
