Danijel Krivec is a Slovenian politician and electrical engineer who currently serves as a member of the National Assembly of Slovenia. First elected to the National Assembly in 2004, he has held various leadership roles, including serving as the head of the Slovenian Democratic Party's parliamentary group and as a Vice President of the National Assembly from 2022 to 2026. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served as the mayor of Bovec from 2002 to 2010 and worked as an engineer for Elektro Primorska. He was also a commander of civil defense during the Slovenian War of Independence, for which he received the Honorary Sign of Freedom of the Republic of Slovenia.
