Ferenc Horváth is a Slovenian politician of Hungarian descent currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly of Slovenia, representing the Hungarian national minority. Born in Murska Sobota in 1972, he holds a degree from the Faculty of Education at the University of Maribor. Before his election to the National Assembly in 2018, he served as the deputy mayor of Lendava and as the director of the Institute for Information Activities of the Hungarian Nationality. He has been a prominent advocate for the interests of the Hungarian minority in Slovenia and chairs the Commission for National Communities.
