A graduate in the conservation of cultural heritage from the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples, she has worked as an official for the Sardinia Region. Her political career includes serving as a municipal councilor in Cagliari and as an assessor for urban planning and strategic planning. In 2019, she ran as the center-left candidate for mayor of Cagliari, subsequently leading the opposition in the city council. In the Chamber of Deputies, she is a member of the Transport, Post and Telecommunications Commission.
