Francisco José Pérez Tejada Padilla is a Mexican politician and businessman who served as the Municipal President of Mexicali from 2010 to 2013. A graduate of CETYS University with a degree in International Business, he was a long-time member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) until his expulsion in 2019. His administration was marked by significant infrastructure projects, including the modernization of the historic center and the construction of the BRT system, but also faced severe controversy regarding financial management and public debt. In 2015, he was disqualified from holding public office for ten years due to administrative irregularities involving social security contributions during his tenure.
