Fred Tilley

Fred Tilley is a Canadian politician serving as a member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly for the riding of Northside-Westmount. First elected in 2021 as a member of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party, he crossed the floor to join the Progressive Conservative Party in October 2024. Following his re-election in the 2024 provincial election, he was appointed to the Executive Council of Nova Scotia as Minister of Public Works. Prior to his political career, Tilley worked in the retail, construction, and fishing industries, and served as the Principal of the Marconi Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College.
