Freddy Solano

Freddy José María Solano Gonzáles is a Peruvian lawyer and public official who served as the Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion in 2026. A graduate of the National University of Trujillo with a master's degree in Labor Law and Social Security, he held various public sector roles, including superintendent of Sunafil, president of the board of Corpac, and executive director of the Contigo National Program. In April 2026, he became the executive president of PromPerú. He resigned from his ministerial post in July 2026 following allegations regarding the authenticity of his professional credentials and reports of sexual harassment.
