Frederica Wilson

Frederica Wilson is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 24th congressional district since 2011. Before entering federal office, she served in the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate, where she held leadership roles including Minority Whip. An educator by profession, she previously served as a school principal and founded the 5,000 Role Models of Excellence mentoring program. Throughout her career, she has been a vocal advocate for education reform, anti-hazing legislation, and civil rights, frequently addressing issues of racial profiling and social justice.
