Hal Rogers

Hal Rogers is an American politician and lawyer who has served as the U.S. Representative for Kentucky's 5th congressional district since 1981. As the longest-serving Republican in the House of Representatives, he currently holds the title of Dean of the House. Throughout his extensive career, Rogers has been a prominent member of the House Committee on Appropriations, where he has focused on economic development in Appalachia and bipartisan negotiation.
