Fue Lee

Fue Lee is an American politician serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2016. Born in a refugee camp in Thailand to Hmong parents from Laos, he immigrated to the United States as a toddler and grew up in Minneapolis. A graduate of Carleton College, Lee previously worked as an aide in the office of the Minnesota Secretary of State and co-founded the Asian American Organizing Project. As a legislator, he has focused on capital investment, environmental justice, and housing infrastructure, notably serving as chair of the Capital Investment Committee. He is recognized as the first Hmong-American to represent Minneapolis in the state legislature.
