Peter Fischer is an American politician serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2013, representing District 44A. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, he has focused his legislative career on environmental protection, water quality, and consumer rights. He has authored legislation regarding the regulation of hunting traps, lead fishing equipment, and the prevention of water contamination. Additionally, Fischer has been a proponent of right-to-repair legislation and housing affordability initiatives.
