Takahiro Fukushige is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the North Kanto proportional representation block. Born in Chofu, Tokyo, in 1962, he graduated from Soka University in 1985 and began his career at Tokyo Cosmos Electric. Before entering national politics, he served five consecutive terms in the Gunma Prefectural Assembly, where he also held the position of head of the Komeito Gunma Prefectural Headquarters. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2021 and has since secured re-election, currently serving his third term as a member of the Centrist Reform Alliance.
