Ryo Fuzuki is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Liberal Democratic Party. Born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, he graduated from Osaka City University with a degree in commerce. Before entering politics, he worked at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., served as a corporate president in the video production industry, and held a position as a senior cybersecurity analyst at the National Center of Incident Readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity (NISC). Fuzuki also spent several years as a freelance writer and photographer specializing in digital camera technology. After four unsuccessful attempts to win a seat in the House of Representatives between 2012 and 2024, he was elected to his first term in February 2026. He is the son of the late Naoki Prize-winning author Osamu Takahashi and maintains a lifestyle as a part-time farmer and hunter in Oamishirasato, Chiba Prefecture.
