Gábor Grendel is a Slovak politician and journalist who has served as a Member of the National Council of Slovakia since 2016. He also held the position of Deputy Speaker of the Council starting in 2020. Before entering politics, Grendel worked as a journalist for various media outlets including Új Szó, Twist radio, TA3, and Markíza. He later served as a spokesman for the Interior Affairs minister and was a founding member of the NOVA party, which he led as chairman from 2017 to 2019.
