Gábor Kereskényi

Gábor Kereskényi is a Romanian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Satu Mare, a position he has held since 2016. Born in 1980 in Satu Mare, he began his political career early, working as a secretary in the Romanian Senate from 2001 to 2005 while completing his law degree at the University of Debrecen. Before his election as mayor, he served as a legal advisor for local public and commercial entities, as a deputy mayor of Satu Mare, and as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania from 2012 to 2016. He is a member of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR) and continues to focus on urban development and regional infrastructure projects.
