Günter Rudolph is a German politician and a long-serving member of the Landtag of Hesse, having held his seat since 1995. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), he previously served as the chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the state legislature and as the leader of the opposition from 2021 to 2024. Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in local politics in the Schwalm-Eder district and Edermünde. Following the 2023 state election, he played a significant role in the negotiations that led to the formation of the current coalition government in Hesse.
