Gürsel Erol

Gürsel Erol is a Turkish politician and businessman currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Elazığ. Born in 1963, he has a long history of political involvement, having served as the head of the Social Democratic Populist Party (SHP) youth branches and as a provincial chair for both the SHP and the Republican People's Party (CHP). Throughout his career, he has been active in various civil society organizations, including serving as the president of the Tunceli Education and Culture Foundation. He was first elected to parliament in 2015 representing Tunceli and has since been re-elected as a deputy for Elazığ in the 27th and 28th parliamentary terms.
