Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez

Gabriela Servilia Jiménez Ramírez is a Venezuelan biologist and politician who has served as the Minister of Science and Technology since June 2019. Educated at the Central University of Venezuela, she has held significant leadership roles including president of the Corporation for Scientific and Technological Development (Codecyt), president of CANTV, and Sectoral Vice President for Science, Technology, Education and Health. As minister, she has promoted national free software development and advocated for enhanced cybersecurity initiatives.
