Gabrielle Cathala

Gabrielle Cathala is a French politician serving as a member of the National Assembly for the 6th constituency of Val-d'Oise since July 2024. Before her election, she worked as a parliamentary advisor and secretary general for the La France Insoumise (LFI) group, and held roles in humanitarian aid, including positions at the French embassy in the Republic of the Congo and the NGO ACTED in Haiti. Cathala holds degrees in international and criminal law. Her political work focuses on civil liberties, including advocacy against algorithmic surveillance and the defense of human rights, notably participating in the Freedom Flotilla Coalition's mission to Gaza in 2025.
