Nathalie Appéré

Nathalie Appéré is a French politician who has served as the Mayor of Rennes since 2014 and as the President of Rennes Métropole since 2020. A member of the Socialist Party, she previously served as a member of the French National Assembly for Ille-et-Vilaine's 2nd constituency from 2012 to 2017. Throughout her career, she has focused on social cohesion, urban development, and local democracy, notably implementing participatory budgeting and environmental initiatives in Rennes. She holds a degree from the Rennes Institute of Political Studies and began her career in public service and social development.
