Galymzhan Koishybayev is a Kazakh diplomat and politician currently serving as the Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Government of Kazakhstan, a position he has held since 2023. A graduate of Moscow State University, he began his career in the diplomatic service in 1995, holding various roles at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia. He later served as an ambassador to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland. Before his current appointment, he held significant roles including Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of the Office of the Prime Minister.
