Балабиев, Кайрат Рахимович

Kairat Balabiyev is a Kazakhstani politician and legal scholar currently serving as a member of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan for the VIII convocation. Representing the Amanat party from electoral district No. 25 in the Turkistan Region, he serves on the Committee on Legislation and Judicial-Legal Reform. Before his parliamentary career, Balabiyev held various positions in the regional prosecutor's office and served as the secretary of the South Kazakhstan and Turkistan regional maslikhats. He holds a doctorate in legal sciences and has worked extensively as a professor and academic administrator.
