Нурмухамбетов, Гауез Торсанович

Gauez Nurmukhambetov is a Kazakhstani statesman, economist, and administrator serving as the Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region since September 2023. Born in Kostanay Region, he graduated from the Tselinograd Agricultural Institute, the Chelyabinsk State University, and the Kostanay Engineering and Economic University, holding a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree. His extensive career includes serving as a district akim in various regions, mayor (akim) of Kostanay, inspector in the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, first deputy akim of Kostanay Region, and a member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
