Gayle Lammers

Gayle Lammers is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Montana State Senate for District 21. Prior to his current role in the Senate, he served as a member of the Montana House of Representatives for the 41st district. During the 69th Montana Legislature, Lammers gained attention as part of a moderate coalition of nine Republicans who worked with Democrats, a group labeled the "nasty nine" by political opponents. Consequently, he was censured by the Montana Republican Party in March 2025 for his legislative efforts and perceived abandonment of the party's majority.
