He currently serves as a Federal Deputy for the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished 36-year military career and served as Secretary of Public Security in both Roraima and Rio Grande do Norte. A member of the Liberal Party, he is known for his conservative political views and focus on public security policy.
