Geni Thakor

Geniben Thakor is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Lok Sabha for the Banaskantha constituency. Previously, she served as a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, representing the Vav constituency after winning elections in 2017 and 2022. Known for her active involvement in regional politics, she has advocated for conservative social policies within her community, including support for restrictions on mobile phone usage for unmarried women and proposals to mandate parental consent for love marriages. She has also been a vocal participant in parliamentary protests regarding national budget sessions.
